Specs & Guidelines

Ideal temps for application range from 30F - 95F, however HyperDip is sensitive to humidity. Humidity levels at or below 50% are ideal. HyperDip® protects your wheels from acids, abrasion, corrosion, impact, salts, moisture and weathering. It remains flexible, stretchy and will not crack, or become brittle in extreme temperatures when applied correctly.HyperDip is not compatible with traditional Plasti Dip, so please do not combine or stack the two products.Test all applications in a small inconspicuous area to make sure it will meet your expectations and is suitable for each unique surface. Although HyperDip has proven to be safe and predictable, every surface is unique and it's impossible to predict how each surface will react.

Great coating and color

Application was very easy and it turned out great. It appears to be very durable because i just had my tires installed on the rims with no damage. Time will tell.

Easy

This was an enjoyable project. My stock wheels had lots of curb rash so I cjose a darker to help cover it. Ike wheels turned out super.

Easy to apply, looks amazing

The prep was the hardest part, but getting the wheels super clean made for great results. Spraying the dip was pretty easy. The tack coats were straightforward, but I struggled with the wet coats at first. If I put on enough dip to truly get it looking wet, I'd get runs. So after the first wet coat I started going lighter, kind of wet-ish. After that it went great. I put on 8 coats in total, rotating the wheels 90 degrees after every two coats. The runs flattened out by the end, and the wheels look incredible. Hopefully it holds up, but I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Took about 4 hours total, but hands on time was closer to 2. Car is a Tesla Model 3 performance with the 20" sport wheels, and I had 2 cans leftover after I finished.
