Specs & Guidelines

Ideal temps for application range from 30F - 95F, however HyperDip is sensitive to humidity. Humidity levels at or below 50% are ideal. HyperDip® protects your wheels from acids, abrasion, corrosion, impact, salts, moisture and weathering. It remains flexible, stretchy and will not crack, or become brittle in extreme temperatures when applied correctly.HyperDip is not compatible with traditional Plasti Dip, so please do not combine or stack the two products.Test all applications in a small inconspicuous area to make sure it will meet your expectations and is suitable for each unique surface. Although HyperDip has proven to be safe and predictable, every surface is unique and it's impossible to predict how each surface will react.

ratty old wheels to good looking daily drivers.

cleaned wheels, rust-oleum rust restorer as primer. used the rattle can of Dip your Car, several thin layers of grey Hyper Dip, followed directions ( my second set of wheels I have “dipped” ), impressed my professional painter friends ( again ), wheels others suggested I chuck in recycling, are now nice enough be on daily driver and make it look better. Dip Your Car, covering, on the center section of wheels, really added that look, that turned these wheels around.

I chose the wrong color

Hi Fonzi, The quality of the product is excellent. But I wanted a lighter gray and realize now there is the nardo gray that looks lighter in your photos on the website. Oh well. I might order again to redo it. Thank you.
